That is the price Carrie paid and yet it seems that members of the public still aren't satisfied that her punishment equals her crime and continue to harrass her as she tries to rebuild her life.To avoid putting the only member of her family that stood by her accidentally in harms way, she decides to move away and start fresh in a place where nobody knows her past.
Hope, Montana seems like a good place to do just that. Although a relationship is the last thing on her mind when she meets Chad Preston, she can't deny her growing feelings for too long.
When things start to go wrong, they have to figure out whose past is haunting them and threatening their happiness.

Although I generally do not read much romance as the subject tends to be dominated by stories that all have the same predictable storyline, I did enjoy this one.
The author manages to keep the reader glued to teh story with twists and turns at the right places.
A highly recommended read from this up and coming author.

After serving time for defending herself, Carrie wants a new start. She moves to a new town and meets Chad. Both of them are worried about their past but together they make it. This is a wonderful, heart warming story that gives hope to others. A must read from Emma Leya. Keep them coming, I can't wait to see what you come up with next. Buy this, you won't be disappointed.
Getting out of prison, Carrie needed a fresh start. She moves in with her uncle but finds out that not everyone is willing to let the past stay in the past. Moving to Hope, Montana She falls in love with the middle of no where town. Trying to keep to herself she meets the sexy rancher Chad. Even though she tries to keep her distance from him, she finds them growing closer and closer together.
When things start happening to them, she wonders if her past has caught up to her. But Chad believes it is his own past were someone from there can not seem to let go and move on.
It was nice for once to see a woman trying to rebuild her life and finding people accepting her for who she is and believing her about her past. She was not using her past as a crutch, but more to push herself to do better. The ending was totally UNEXPECTED! I never saw that one coming. It blindsided me. This was a great read.
Was suspenseful...real...and had a lot of meaning to it. I would advise anyone to read it.It will be well worth your time.
A woman trying to restart her life after being released from prison and a rancher unable to get his personal life on track after a horrific loss of his own, have their lives meshed in a small Montana town called Hope. Small town does not always mean quiet town. Life in Hope is anything but dull and boring with both of their pasts meeting head on. For an excellent beach read this more than fills the bill.
Taking a lazy Sunday I curled up with a glass of milk and started on playing catch up with some of stories I'd been putting on hold. Let the review begin.
My first review for the day starts off with Finding Hope.
First want to say LOVED it. It was sweet, charming, and filled with...yep you guessed it. Lots of Hope.
Our story starts off with us meeting Carrie, a female that has just gotten out of prison for murdering her husband. In self-defense.
So she gets out moves in with her sweet Uncle Clive, but like any ex-con she has to find out that she still has enemies that don't quite like that she's out.
Worse comes to worse and with out giving away an details I'll say this. She moves to and yep you guessed it...The small town of Hope to keep her uncle safe. Keep him out of all the drama and hate that she is getting from people.
So in the town of Hope she meets friends right off the bat you learn that she is a like able sweet woman with a hard past and just wants to live free, not bother anyone, not hurt anyone. She's paid her dues and its time for her to have some of what she has lost back.
Threw out the story you meet a great cast of characters including the Oh-so-yummy Steve and Chad.
To find out just what rolls they play in the story you'll have to grab your copy.
But anyway back to the review.

The claws come out so to speck.
So the story is written in first person and I for one loved that it was, you feel a closer connection to the character from the moment she stepped out of that prison to the moment at the very end.
So if I where you I'd go grab my copy of finding Hope. You may like it. I did.
